I am a first generation low income college graduate raised in Dallas, TX. While in University I studied Computer Science, Political Science & Latina/o Studies focusing on increase STEM access for Latinos. Both my parents are Mexican immigrants and I am proud to call myself an Mexican-American. 

I am currently completing my certification in Single Subject Secondary Mathematics through LMU with a partnership with Teach For America. I plan to presuing my masters in urban education with an emphasis in policy.
